The University of Technnology offers a 3-year (full time) Bachelor of Science in Nanotechnology Innovation - a combined science / business degree providing two years of technical training and one year of business training.
First semester commences around the beginning of March and runs until July, second semester commences August and ends November.
Masters by research and PhD by thesis can also be undertaken in nanotechnology at UTS within the Institute for Nanoscale Technology.
Research interests within the Institute include experimental and computational projects in energy efficiency and spectrally selective coatings, biomedical nanotechnology, applications of gold nanoparticles, nanoelectronics, and nanotechnology and society.
Masters degrees are generally 18 months to 2 years and PhD studies 2 - 3 years.
