 USA - Massachusetts - Boston - Harvard University - Materials Research Science & Engineering Centers (MRSEC) & Nanoscale Science & Engineering Centers (NSEC) - Research Experience for Teachers (RET)
This program will introduce public school teachers to ongoing NSEC research and develop connections with public schools. A new course at Harvard will cover the fundamental concepts in nanoscale research as well as possible applications in a series of lectures by Center faculty. Each Teacher is involved in laboratory studies with Center researchers.
As a follow-up activity, many teachers can bring their classes back to the Center during the academic year.
