Our Centers are actively involved in early awareness outreach programs designed to stimulate interest in college-level science and engineering. These programs are targeted at the entire community of middle school students in the Cambridge Public Schools so as to reach the diverse Cambridge population.
- Over 500 seventh graders and their teachers from CPS are invited to Harvard
- They meet with former Cambridge Public school students now in college
- Students tour the campus and learn about college life and financial aid
- Center faculty explain their research and the societal benefits
