Job Description: |
Reporting to the President, The Vice President of Sales/Marketing will be a highly motivated professional who will be responsible to develop business and relationships to meet or exceed sales revenue plan established through a strategic planning process and help define the company’s overall strategies and tactics for new markets and growth opportunities, build and lead a Marketing and Sales infrastructure, manage communications: Publications; Public Relations and Presentations. The successful person must be a metric driven individual who is capable of enhancing sales As the marketing executive, the incumbent will be required to identify potential customers, qualify new market opportunities through market analysis

Job Requirements: |
Candidates should have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Chemistry or Management with at least 10 years of experience successfully managing the sales/marketing function for an advanced materials company especially in establishing new markets for product commercialization. Candidate must have a proven successful track record in marketing to Fortune 500 companies. Understanding of customer-centric and previous experience in a start up environment is a plus. Must exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills and work well within a multidisciplinary team environment. Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills required. Must be an energetic executive with excellent Sales leadership skills, a team builder, results driven, multi-tasker, able to function in a dynamic environment. Good negotiation skills and an excellent understanding of managing alliances/partnerships essential.
