Job Description: |
The John F. Welch Technology Centre (JFWTC), Bangalore, is General Electric's (GE) first and largest integrated, multidisciplinary Research and Development Center outside the US. The Electronics Devices Center of Excellence (CoE) is part of the Micro & Nano Structures Organization. The Electronic Devices CoE primarily focuses on designing MEMS based sensors and actuators. Design of these devices involves a multifaceted approach, integrating various concepts of physics, mechanics, semiconductors, electronics, optics, and materials. Researchers here are committed to coming up innovative ideas to find solutions for GE businesses, to help them grow. Researchers from this CoE are equipped with design tools like Coventorware, Ansys, and Intellisuite for multi-physics MEMS modeling, DW-2000 for mask design, and other tools like MEDICI Opti-BPM, Opti-FDTD, and ASAP. Other equipment includes a class 1000 Clean Room and an Optical lab to facilitate critical experiments.

Job Requirements: |
A doctorate with 7 + yrs of experience in Electrical Engineering or Physics with expertise in: *MEMS, MOEMS, or WBG *Track record of Engg team leadership/Project management skills *Breadth of knowledge, strategic thinking *Great communication skills witten and oral, Global experience *People management skills Desired Skills include: *Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology *Understanding of market needs in relevant markets *Experience of entire product life cycle
