Job Description:
UTA-NanoFab has an immediate opening for a full-time postdoctoral researcher in the area of force and acceleration microsensors. The initial appointment is for 8 months, with the possibility of extension for 1-1½ additional years depending on the candidate's performance and the availability of funds. Very competitive salary and benefits. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Job Requirements:
Candidates with strong theoretical and experimental background/experience in one or more of the following areas are sought: force and pressure microsensors, piezoresistors, and accelerometers. Hand-on experience in MEMS fabrication is a plus. To be considered, candidates must have published in at least one of the aforementioned areas, must have a PhD degree in EE/ME by the time of appointment, and must have strong communication skills in English.
