Infotonics Technology Center: Etch Process Technician

Job Description:
ITC is a New York State Center of Excellence in MEMS/NEMS Microsystems development, fabrication, and packaging. We provide vertically integrated services from product concept through production in our state-of-the-art facility in Canandaigua, NY. ITC supports commercialization of Microsystems and chip scale devices that integrate mechanics, optics, fluidics and chemistry on a microelectronics chip. We currently have an opening for an Etch Process Technician: •Perform dry etch , wet etch, and PECVD operations as required •Collect and respond to SPC data •Execute designed experiments to optimize the process •Write and maintain the SOP’s for tool operation, and statistical process control (SPC) •Ensure that good chemical handling and safety practices are practiced •Work with the ITC team to integrate processes for successful device fabrication
Job Requirements:
•Minimum 5 years experience in either semiconductor or MEMs processing, specifically in the dry etch area (PECVD experience is beneficial, but not a requirement) •Minimum 2 yr technical degree preferred •History of R&D environment with process discipline •MS Office skills (Excel, Word) considered a plus
