Job Description: |
Currently the Fab Operations Department has an opening for a CVD/PECVD process engineer. This position’s main responsibilities would be:
•Develop new recipes as required to change film properties to meet customer requirements (thickness, stress, resistance, optical properties) for the following films:
•LPCVD (polysilicon, nitride, TEOS)
•APCVD (POCL3 doping, thermal oxidation, anneals)
•PECVD (nitride, oxide, TEOS, undoped and doped amorphous silicon)
•Apply Statistical Process Control on critical parameters in the area
•Supervise and mentor support technicians
•Ensure proper handling for all gases/chemicals for the area; establish appropriate safety procedures.
•Act as technical lead in programs that require extensive CVD/PECVD processing (establish activities for overall process development, define schedule, routinely report results).
•Work with ITC technical team to integrate processes for successful device fabrication
•Work with technical members to ensure a match of process capability to product requirement. Make available various process/product options and their associated costs with recommendation to reconcile any differences.
•Make recommendations for hardware upgrades or acquisitions as required
•Lead CVD/PECVD tool installations and perform qualifications to make production-ready

Job Requirements: |
•BS or MS (preferred) in Chemical Engineering or Material Science, with 5 years or more industrial experience in the CVD/PECVD area
•Hands-on processing experience; knowledgeable regarding the mechanical aspects of the equipment operation. Willingness to do hands-on work.
• Experienced in all safety procedures, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Experience with process development, integration, and transfer.
•Experienced in the use of design of experiments, failure analysis methodologies, and statistical process controls for process optimization and control.
•Strong decision-making skills.
•Experience in customer and vendor relationships.
