Job Description: |
The systems engineer leads the successful coordination of engineering and manufacturing to delivery systems to the specific customer configuration. Balancing engineering skills, manufacturing understanding, and customer communications, this position provides both breadth and depth in the engineering discipline. This position is best suited to individuals that like equipment design and enjoy seeing equipment built and delivered to the success of the customers. The systems design engineer will coordinate 3 – 5 projects per year, with each project ranging in value from $600,000 to more than $3,000,000. The position has regular interface to all of engineering, manufacturing, and has regular contact with the executive management team. |
Job Requirements: |
• Preferred BS Degree in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; Material Science or Physics.
• Previous capital equipment (design or process) experience, preferably in the area of vacuum systems, or Automation.
• Previous equipment design, or experience operating semiconductor, vacuum equipment or other similar high tech large scale equipment.
• Previous experience with SAP or similar MRP software, beneficial, but not required.
• Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Previous design skills beneficial, but not required. |
