Job Requirements:
We seek a highly motivated individual holding a PhD degree in physics (specialized in semiconductor physics), physical electronics or other relevant disciplines. The candidate should have demonstrated significant accomplishments in semiconductor/nano materials research and must have extensive experience with PLD growth and vacuum systems, and material characterization techniques, including RHEED, AFM, HR-XRD, and PL. In particular, the candidate should preferably have experience in PLD growth of quantum dots, and a thorough understanding of PLD growth mechanisms and the physics of semiconductor quantum dots. Experience from clean room processing of devices is an added advantage. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance of the PLD facility. The candidate must be interested in team work.
